Art Explorations at The Secret Place Studio: Building community and inspiring kids’ creativity.

Session A: January - May 2021 | Classes Mondays 3:30pm-5:00pm

Registration fee of $60 is required to lock in your child’s registration and will be applied to the last two weeks of the session. The charge is $30 weekly and billed monthly on the last day of the month.

Your child will need a small supply kit that includes:

- 11x14 Bristol Board Pad

- Small box colored pencils, and one regular pencil

- Black gel pen

- Glue sticks

- Small jar Modge Podge

- Small Set Acrylic or Craft Paints (MUST INCLUDE Blue, - Yellow, Red, White, and Black)

- Small set Craft paint brushes (INCLUDES at least one larger, flat brush)

- Ruler

- Scissors

*all of these items can be found at Wal-Mart, Michaels, and Jerry’s Artarama. Basic craft supplies will do, they don't need to be pricey!

Considering our current situation and Covid orders: everyone is encouraged to wear a mask and we will practice safe, social distancing. Our facility and works areas will be cleaned, disinfected, and sanitized regularly to ensure a safe, healthy environment for all. Does your child have any allergies or medical issues?

Supply Kit :)

Your child will need a small supply kit that includes: - 11x14 Bristol Board Pad - Small box colored pencils, and one regular pencil - Black gel pen - Glue sticks - Small jar Modge Podge - Small Set Acrylic or Craft Paints (MUST INCLUDE Blue, - Yellow, Red, White, and Black) - Small set Craft paint brushes (INCLUDES at least one larger, flat brush) - Ruler - Scissors *all of these items can be found at Wal-Mart, Michaels, and Jerry’s Artarama. Basic craft supplies will do, they don't need to be pricey!

Billing

An initial $60 registration fee will secure child's enrollment in Art Explorations. This fee will be applied to the final two weeks of the session. - Monthly invoices will be emailed to the email address on file on the last day of the month. Payment is due at the time of receipt. Any payments made after 7 days will incur a late fee of $10.

Withdrawals and Refunds

Private Lessons: Office must be notified by the 4th lesson of intent to withdraw, refund will be 80% of the unused tuition; no refund after the 4th lesson of the term. Group Classes: There are no refunds for group classes, workshops, and/or master classes.

Use of Photos and Videos

We may take photographs of classes or activities for promotional use in online and print materials. If you would like us to not use any images of yourself or a family member, please let us know in writing or by email.

Release, Waiver and Indemnity Agreement

The undersigned person signing this Release, Waiver & Indemnity Agreement ("Agreement") is either a student/customer of The Secret Place Studio (the "Business"), or is the parent or legal guardian of such a student/customer who is a minor, for whom he/she is signing. The undersigned hereby acknowledges that there are inherent dangers and risks in receiving or participating in services/activities offered by the Business (whether at the facility operated by the Business or elsewhere), including but not limited to: (i) exposure to COVID-19 or other communicable/infectious diseases, even if the Business has taken all reasonable or legally required precautions to prevent or reduce the same: (ii) injury resulting from participation in recreational activities offered or permitted at the facility operated by the Business; and (iii) injury resulting from participation in activities offered, overseen or sponsored by the Business, whether at the Business facility or elsewhere (i.e., field trips). The undersigned further acknowledges that he/she is voluntarily and/or knowingly assuming such risks on behalf of him/herself, and/or on behalf of his/her minor child/student. In consideration of the Business offering its services/activities to the undersigned (or the child of the undersigned), and in order to induce the Business to provide such services/activities, the undersigned hereby agrees as follows: 1. To waive any and all claims that he/she (or his/her child) may have the Business and its owners, managers, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, and/or successors and assigns (all of whom are hereafter referred to as "Releasees"), and to release the Releasees from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense or injury including death that may be suffered by the undersigned (or his/her child) as a result of participating in or receiving the services of the Business. 2. To hold harmless and indemnify the Releasees from any and all liability for any property damage or personal injury to him/her (or his/her child), including costs incurred for medical costs, emergency transportation, and/or litigation resulting from participation (by him/her or his/her child) in the services provided by the Business 3. That this Agreement shall be effective and binding on the heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, assigns, and/or representatives of the undersigned and his/her child on behalf of whom he/she is executing this Agreement. My typed signature below indicates that I have read, understand and agree to the terms stated above.
